Work with client to ensure successful service delivery per contract. Includes RA, BIA, DR Strategy design, DR project Implementation, DRP development, DR drilling and related work. The Senior Business Continuity Consultant will be responsible for:

  • Successfully deliver continuity management at assigned account. This entails providing quality deliverables, client satisfaction, meeting the defined timelines, managing to scope and within the projected costs.
  • Understand IT Continuity contract scope in light of larger outsourcing deal and successfully works with peers.
  • Implement part or all of the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design. Responsible for providing a detailed technical design for enterprise solutions, understands a broad spectrum of IT technology in order to provide part or all of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements.
  • Develops and/or exercises continuity plans. Develops/maintains surrounding Declaration, Activation and other processes so that they integrate into ITIL-based IT outsourcing delivery model.
  • Perform all client-facing delivery activities across the whole BCM Lifecycle based on the customer requirements.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge on new processes and technologies within the business continuity profession.  Maintain knowledge of overall HP Transition standards and processes.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Expert in Business Continuity Management concepts
  • Replication technologies (storage based replication, host based replication, appliance based replication. Application based replication)
  • Disaster Recovery solutions
  • Familiarity with multiple Operating Systems
  • Familiarity of network concepts that relate to Disaster Recovery
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen and understand client needs.
  • Strong Customer Service skills

Prefer Certified Business Continuity Professional designation through DRI International or BCI
